Tub RACS

Tub Bottom RAC


This RAC is made to sit on the bottom of a tub, with the mesh platform elevated  2 1/2” off of the bottom by two runners. These runners are set in about 1 1/2”, to avoid the curve of the tub. This enables you to bathe or treat an animal without the patient sitting in dirt or suds, which simply run through the open mesh. The RACS are capable of holding dogs of any size, and come in two standard sizes. Both are 36” long. One is 18” wide and the other is 21” wide. These two sizes work in most tubs available on the market, including human bathtubs.  Simply measure the distance across your tub, 2” from the bottom, at either end of a yardstick, to see which one will fit your needs. The prices for these two RACS are listed in our regular price list. Custom RACS can be made to your own size requirements.

Recessed Tub Top RAC

 
This RAC is made to hang on the top edges of a tub on arms that suspend the platform about 2” below the edge. These are handy for bathing smaller dogs and cats, and are often used for procedures involving anesthesia, such as clipping of severe hair mats, minor surgeries or dentals, where more comfortable access to the patient is desired.

Unfortunately, due to the extreme number of variations of tubs used, there are no standard sizes for our tub top RACS. Prices are based on the size of the RAC, so give us a call with your needs, and we will quote you a price. It takes from four to five weeks to make and ship a custom product.
