How custom are custom kennel floors?
Yes, we do offer a modular approach to kennel flooring, however, our custom kennel floors truly are custom. Here are some ways the RACS system is customized, or how we will build it to suit your facility.
- Custom build for length, width, height, and include adjustments to accommodate for protrusions into the area
- Choose materials based on weight requirements which can include either steel or aluminum structures
- We can customize surface structures which include options for coated expanded metal or laser punched perforated steel
- Custom build to include legs, supports and wall mounts as needed
- Since there are no standard run sizes, RACS custom builds each run utilizing different styles or solutions depending on the type and nature of your area to be covered.
- Our experienced staff will ask the right questions and be able to answer any concerns you have which will help determine which design is best suited for your requirements
- Our standard colors are brown and hunter green; other colors are available but could increase the lead time
- Before we manufacture your flooring you’ll receive an architectural drawing of the floors; once you approve the drawing, the floors will begin the production process
Understanding the Installation process
Early on, our team will help you assess planning needs, and discuss some of the installation procedures as we help you to design your flooring solution. After receiving your measurements, we will design the floors to fit the area.
Because these are custom builds and you’re approving exact dimensions, easy installation should be relatively assured.
How easy is the installation with RACS kennel floors?
Installation is fast and easy. The premium steel architecture of the flooring (aluminum is also available depending on your needs), is welded together prior to the coating process so that there will be no exposed edges. These modular pieces do not require additional assembly. You simply place the flooring pieces into position in the designated space and they are ready for immediate use.
Prior to manufacturing the flooring that will be installed in your facility, a drawing will be supplied of a run floor that is built so it is easy to install sections for your specific space. Because of the modular design, individual flooring pieces can be lifted out for easy cleaning as needed.
The rigid structure and the completely sealed coating make components easy to service, provides long-term durability, and makes it incredibly easy to clean our kennel flooring. You can even use an autoclave, pressure washers and Industry standard cleaners.
