Original Cage RACS  

Veterinarians from across the country let us know how much they like our Original Cage RACS. This was the first product we produced to meet the needs for animal flooring. Since the very beginning, this animal floor grate has proudly been produced in the United States. Some quick facts about this product include:

• Used by veterinarians for over 45 years

• Lightweight & durable

• Easy to clean

• Coated with glossy brown plastisol

Veterinarians may use papers and bedding in addition to the Original Cage RACS. However, this plastisol coated animal flooring is comfortable enough to use without additional bedding. Fortunately, any additional bedding can easily be changed without disturbing the animal in the cage.

The legs of the Original Cage RACS are bent according to the size of the cage floor. These legs resemble sled runners, which support the platform of the cage. For use in larger cages, an additional center support is also welded to the platform.

The Original Cage RACS remain one of our most popular products for two reasons. First, they are economical by keeping operating costs low. Second, excellent air circulation is available when used with a cage dryer.

Comfort RACS  

Comfort RACS are also a well-liked type of animal floor grate. With their perforated surface, they can provide comfort when it is needed most. The perforated holes are sized just right for the animals using the flooring. Most fecal matter will be able to fall through the funnel and to the cage floor below. This keeps the Comfort RACS dry and makes it incredibly easy for human caretakers to clean.

• Coated with glossy hunter green plastisol

 With the Comfort RACS, there is no exposed steel on the floor. This means rust will never be a problem.

Aluminum RAC-Lite  

Another popular product is our Aluminum RAC-Lite. Developed after numerous requests for lighter cage floors, this animal floor grate is only 2-¼” from the floor to the top of the mesh. This allows larger animals to enjoy additional headroom. Some quick facts about this product include:

• 35% lighter than coated steel floors of the same size

• Easy to handle

• Coated with glossy brown plastisol
